The reprint of Mr. Cabbagehead's Garden is live on Kickstarter and the campaign will run for 16 days. You may back either the standard or the Deluxe edition. Both editions include the New Neighbours, The Grasshoppers, and the Romancing Eudora expansions. The Deluxe edition comes with custom wooden bee tokens and a burlap seed sack. If you already have the game, you can also pledge to receive promos or a playmat.

Mr. Cabbagehead's Garden is a 1-2 player set collection and push-your-luck game that was initially released by Todd Sanders as a free PnP (files still available on BGG). Your goal in the game is to help the anthropomorphic vegetable Mr. Cabbagehead win the prize in the annual Garden Club contest. His neighbours, however, steal veggies from his garden when he's away thus threatening his chance at winning. Gameplay is divided in 2 phases: the Planting phase and the Neighbours phase.

In the Planting phase, you will reveal 3 vegetable cards and choose one of them to plant in your plot. The first card costs one bee token (spent from your supply if you have any), the second card is free, and the third card gives you one bee token. Your plot can contain a maximum of 3 rows with 6 vegetables each, and there are special placement rules that you have to follow when planting. The cards that you didn't choose will determine how many neighbour tokens will be revealed this turn.

In the Neighbours phase, the neighbour with the most revealed tokens will come to interfere with your garden and move or remove a vegetable. At the end of the game, the contest judge will come to evaluate the garden, so you proceed to tallying up your score and see if you earned the Blue Ribbon.
