Gruff: Whispers of Madness is live (Mad goats)
Update: Gruff: Whispers of Madness has launched on Kickstarter, and the campaign will run for 16 days. Besides the pledge options mentioned below, you can just give 1$ to receive a demo deck of Gruff for free (limited to 500 backers).

Gruff: Whispers of Madness is a 1-4 player card-driven fantasy battle game in which you send your mutated goats to battle against trolls or each other. This is a standalone expansion to the original Gruff that adds hybrid faction goats and the sanity and madness mechanisms. It is launching on Kickstarter on February 18.
The goats (gruffs) you have available at the beginning of the game belong to different factions ('the deep things', 'contraptions', 'the skull clan' etc.), and you will be drafting three of these to form your team (you are a shepherd). Each gruff has its own set of cards. You will shuffle the gruffs' decks together and draw a hand of five cards to start the battle. Your available actions are: move, attack, grow or resurrect. The gruffs also have stats on their faction cards, and these can be raised as you play, to inflict more damage.
In the Kickstarter you will be able to pick either the new Gruff expansion or the expansion, a playmat, a storage box to fit all your Gruff collection and glow-in-the-dark sliders. You can also go all-in and acquire all the Gruff stuff or customize your pledge by adding the Gruffs of your choice. You may check the Kickstarter preview.
