Dan Verssen Games (DVG) will release two new standalone core games in their Warfighter World War II series through Kickstarter on Tuesday October 26: Warfighter: The WWII North African Combat Card Game and Warfighter: The WWII Mediterranean Combat Card Game. At least 18 add-ons for the Mediterranean Theatre of Operations will be available during the campaign as well. Warfighter is a tactical card-based game for 1 to 6 players, where you select and equip a squad of soldiers to execute a mission.
Warfighter North Africa provides the British 8th Army Soldiers, probably focusing on battles in Egypt, Lybia and Tunesia. Warfighter Mediterranean is centered around the Italian forces, taking on British hostiles. The expansions include:
Vehicle packs (Afrika Korps, Desert Rats, Italian Army)
National forces (Italian Airborne "Folgore", British Long Range Desert Group)
Battle Packs about specific conflicts, both for North Africa (Battle of Damascus, the Battle of Bardia and the Battle of Bir Hakeim) and Mediterranean (Battle of Crete, Battle of Rimini, Operation Tombola, Gothic Line)
