Our preview post below was published on September 26.
Hidden Strike: American Revolution is a 1-5 player card-driven area control game with 5 different modes of play: solo, co-op, versus, traitor, and 1 vs. many. It will launch on Kickstarter on September 29.

Hidden Strike was first developed as a cooperative game. In this mode, you take on the role of the American colonists and fight for Independence against the British. If you choose to play solo, you gain help from the special ability of a Founding Father. The American side has 3 types of cards it can use: Troop cards that allow you to deploy troops, Fleet cards that let you deploy your fleet, and Event cards that change the state of the board e.g. by moving forces to a different region. The British side only has Troop and Fleet cards.

At the start of each round, you draw a card from the British deck and execute its instructions. Then, you choose one card from your hand of three to play. The goal of the game is to control the most regions. No fights are taking place: the point is to conquer an area first by having the most units in it.

Lol!!!
"No fights are taking place?" That makes the revolution sound much more peaceful than my liar school teachers would have had me believe.
"Good day, sir."
"And a good day to you."
"It would appear we have 50 men with us."
"Alas, we have but 32."
"Methinks our number doth surpass yours."
"It does indeed sir. We shall be leaving post haste."
"Hmm yes, another victory. Surely they will put my face on money to celebrate my bravery.
