Feed the flames
The Coldest Night is a 1-4 player cooperative game in which you have to sustain a burning fire so that you don't freeze to death. It is going to be released in retail by Indie Boards and Cards (Tom Vasel already received a copy).
You find yourself trapped in a cabin in the middle of a blizzard. You have lit a fire with the use of a match, logs and a newspaper, and now you have to throw all kinds of flammable materials in the fire to avoid frostbite damage. Each card that you place in the fire has a fire value, and an ash value. On your turn, you may either scavenge (draw 3 cards and keep one) or add to the kindling. When you do so, you have to make sure the ash value isn't greater than the sum of fire value of the materials in the fire pile. Whenever there are only two items left in the fire, you get a frostbite card. If you manage to go through the deck of cards, and keep a fire burning in the end by destroying toys, photographs, curtains, couch upholstery, and even the hunting trophy, you win the game.
