Chancellorsville 1863 is live

Chancellorsville 1863 is a 1-2 player card-driven wargame about the American Civil War battle of Chancellorsville. It is live on Kickstarter, and the campaign will run for 14 days. You may either back just the game, or get it in a bundle with Freeman's Farm 1777, or together with Antietam 1862 and Shiloh 1862. As always with Worthington Publishing, shipping is EU-unfriendly.

The game is won if you succeed in controlling 2 out of 3 victory locations or if you break three of the opponent's Commands. On each turn, you will be playing one of the three cards that form your hand: these are formation cards used to activate your troops. On the top of the card is the Major formation (it lets you move and attack twice), and on the bottom of the card is the Minor formation (lets you move and attack once). When you activate a formation, you spend 'cohesion points'. If you run low on cohesion, your formation will may break and be removed from the game.

When you play a card, you gain 'momentum cubes': these let you re-roll dice during combat and purchase tactics cards. If a formation ends its activation in the same location as an enemy formation, combat takes place. The game comes with bot cards for both sides, to allow solitaire play.
