Our preview post below was published on October 2.
Herbaceous: Pocket Edition is a mini version of the 1-4 player set collection game Herbaceous. It will launch on Kickstarter on October 6.
If you are familiar with Herbaceous, this new edition won't change any of the rules you already know, it just makes the game very portable. A mini version of the Flavor Pack expansion will also be available in the Kickstarter.
In the solo mode of Herbaceous, you first shuffle and divide the deck in two, and then draw 3 cards, one at a time. One has to go to your private garden, one to the communal garden, and one to the discard pile. Once the communal garden receives a fifth card, it has to be emptied. Your goal is to fulfill the requirements of different planting pots. One only takes sets of the same herb, another requires pairs, and another all different ones. When the deck runs out, you calculate your score and see how well you did according to the scoring table.
