Queen's Dilemma

Player Count: ? I sent a message to the publisher asking what the Player Count is. Maybe it'll play Solo, but I'm not hopeful, 'cause it's a sequel to The King's Dilemma, which was 3-5 Players. BGG Link. Publisher's Link. Kickstarter Link.

It seems (quite surprisingly) that this means "Yes".

Two possibilities.

a) There is no solo mode.

Why hook you up with a non-response that will only piss you off once you get it? Something like "we thing it might be great but unfortunately we couldn't come up with a satisfying solo design" would be the usual reply.

b) There is a solo mode.

They don't want to make it official to a random person on the internet and want a bit of fuss around it, so they say "we can't tell you yet!", because they don't want to turn off a potential customer, either.

Ergo: there is a solo mode. Or they just have weird communication practices.

No, I think there will be a solo mode - this is the situation in which their reply makes most sense.
