Two Sherlock Holmes Graphic Novel Adventures are live
Sherlock Holmes: Baker Street Irregulars and Sherlock Holmes: The Beginning are two new gamebooks in the series of graphic novel adventures by Van Ryder Games and Makaka Editions. The campaign is live on Kickstarter, and it will run for 12 days.
These gamebooks are usually solitaire affairs but Baker Street Irregulars is a 1-4 player cooperative activity. You get four identical books so that you can sit with friends, leaf through the pages together and decide which lead to investigate next (wasted material on the solo player). Each character has a unique ability and there are four missions to complete.
The Beginning is a 1 player Sherlock Holmes adventure in which you get to see what happened when Sherlock jumped into Reichenbach Falls, was presumed dead, but didn't die. This is the prequel story to all previously published Sherlock Holmes graphic novels.
You may back either of these separately or as a bundle. In case you wish to buy more graphic novels, Van Ryder will run a Kickstarter in 2020 where all their gamebooks will be on offer together with new ones.
