Time of Legends: Destinies
Lucky Duck Games in collaboration with Mythic Games are bringing out a new, stand-alone Time of Legends installment, following the release of Joan of Arc. Time of Legends: Destinies is a 1-3 player competitive, story-driven game, heavily dependent on the use of an app.
The setting is similar to that of Joan of Arc, namely medieval fantasy. The official description could not be more generic: " Each player takes the role of a hero on a quest to fulfill their destiny". There are multiple paths to victory, and a branching storyline. In the multiplayer game, you compete against other players to first complete your goal. There are no details on how the solo mode works yet.
The app is programmed to let you Scan & Play, as players explore tiles, have encounters, and embark on quests. The players' decisions may have a permanent effect in the game, but it is not labelled as legacy.
The Kickstarter campaign will begin on September 24.
