Spire's End is live
The 1-2 player story-driven card game Spire's End is on Kickstarter, and the campaign will run for 29 days.
The gameplay is simple choose-your-own-adventure: you flip cards from the story deck, and, depending on the events, you either have encounters with enemies or get asked to make decisions and progress the storyline. Combat is resolved through spending hit points and rolling dice.
Unlike other contemporary choose-your-own-adventure games which feature retro artwork, the aesthetics in this case are very modern. If this first six-chapter adventure is successful, a second part with six more chapters is in the works, and will follow.
