Solid delays to Metal Gear
IDW Games posted an update regarding pre-orders of their 1-4 player cooperative game, Metal Gear Solid. Production took longer than they had expected, so now they estimate delivery in summer 2020.
The company had been taking pre-orders through Amazon back in August. Now they re-open their pre-order window but this time it will be done through BackerKit. As a way of saying 'sorry we're late', they are adding 100 pages of comic book art to the game's campaign book as well as two plastic cardboard box minis that won't be included in the standard retail edition (they will be tokens).
Besides these box minis, the Day One Edition exclusives are:
1 Tank miniature to replace the punchboard token
1 Helicopter miniature to replace the punchboard token
1 Liquid Snake miniature exclusive to the Day One Edition
1 Liquid Snake VR mission exclusive to the Day One Edition
