Nova Aetas: Renaissance is live (Rebirth of Nova Aetas)
Update: Nova Aetas: Renaissance has launched on Kickstarter and the campaign will run for 22 days. You may either pledge for a copy of NA: Renaissance (with a 48 hour early bird free mini) or combine it with the Hyperion expansion. The Magister pledge gets you the Hyperion expansion, compatible with both Nova Aetas: Renaissance and Black Rose Wars.

Nova Aetas: Renaissance is a 1-4 player cooperative action point and dice rolling adventure game set in a fantasy version of Renaissance Italy. It will launch on Kickstarter on October 20.
Nova Aetas: Renaissance is a reworked edition of the original Nova Aetas with upgraded components. You are playing as a mercenary, seeking fame and glory in the midst of a conflict between Rome and Venice. Gameplay is scenario-based, and the game comes with cardboard terrain pieces, to set the scene.
Both heroes and enemies take turns in a fight by spending action points and moving on the Horologium (a clock-shaped wheel). On each turn, a hero may move, interact with an object, climb on a building or jump from one building to another, use their skills or attack by spending their action points. Attacks are performed by rolling dice and subtracting the enemy's defense from the result. Enemies hit heroes automatically, if they have enough action points and the heroes' defense roll fails. In the Renaissance game, you will also be able to purchase Element cards from the market to upgrade your heroes' equipment.
