The Nightfall expansion for PARKS has launched on Kickstarter, and the campaign will run for 21 days. You can pledge for just the expansion or get the base game as well. All pledge levels receive at least one mini-print of a national park. As mentioned below, the PARKS: Memories game featured in this campaign is not soloable.
The Camping trail action added in the Nightfall expansion has tents show up in the trail and you can visit them to perform bonus actions. The game also comes with extra nocturnal animal meeples.

The 1-5 player hiker placement and set collection game PARKS is coming back to Kickstarter with the Nightfall expansion on February 4. The campaign will also include a memory game ('strategic matching game', non-solo) featuring the same beautiful national parks illustrations.
The expansion brings 24 new park cards, new Year cards that offer more scoring objectives, as well as a new Camping mechanic. If you don't have the base game, you will have the chance to acquire it during the campaign. Information on gameplay changes is yet scarce but if you play with the expansion, the Year cards will replace the ones used in the base game.
In the solo mode of PARKS, you hike alongside rangers. They don't get to score in the end, but they collect weather tokens and trigger events. You win by getting a respectable amount of points and beating your previous score.
