Update: Hellenica: Story of Greece - Leaders and Legends is live on Kickstarter and the campaign will run for 25 days. If you already have the base game, you can back the expansion with or without the 7 themed AI decks. If you don't, you may go all-in and choose if you want one or two wave shipping, or get the game and expansion without the minis.

Hellenica: Story of Greece - Leaders and Legends is an expansion to the 1-7 player 3.5X (0.5 eXplore, 1 eXpand, 1 eXploit, and 1 eXterminate) game Hellenica: Story of Greece. It will launch on Kickstarter on June 1.
In Hellenica, players are taking control of an ancient Greek city-state, and compete against each other for power and scientific and cultural development. In the solo mode, you can face up to 6 different AI opponents, and you win if you are the first to complete 3 objectives.
The Leaders and Legends expansion adds leader characters and legendary mercenaries that you can recruit to assist you in your strategy. You can spend action cubes to pick the leader you want from the ones available in the market, and gain their bonus: increase your research, improve your relations with the gods, or receive more units. Legendary heroes and mythological creatures can also become part of your army and fight on your side.
New objectives and event cards will be added to the game, and the designer has promised that the AI opponents are now more advanced and offer a deeper solo experience.
If you missed out on the first Kickstarter, you will have the chance to get the base game and the Mythic expansion in this new campaign too.
