Marbles of Renaissance

In Masters of Renaissance, the card game version of Lorenzo il Magnifico, 1 to 4 players seek to gather resources via a marbles dispenser, so they can acquire development cards. Your family leaders have specific requests that you need to fulfill, and, as in the original Lorenzo, you accumulate victory points if you are a pious man with military strength.

Simone Luciani, one of the designers, has said that the solo mode works with 'a simple automa, so you play for the best score but you can lose the game'.

Cranio Creations will be selling it at their Essen booth, so retail release will follow.

Personally, whenever I see marbles in a game, I am reminded of this thrilling marble race in the Netherlands, masterfully narrated by Ozzy Man.
