Dog Park is a 1-4 player set collection and auction game in which you are trying to gain reputation for being the best dog walker. It will launch on Kickstarter on September 14.
Your goal in the game is to score the most reputation within four rounds. You do this by walking dogs, completing objectives, and winning awards. Each round is split into four phases: in the Recruitment phase, players are using their reputation to place offers on available dogs. Bids are hidden and get revealed simultaneously. Once each player has recruited two dogs, they proceed to the next phase, Selection. In this phase, they decide which dog from their kennel they wish to walk, and pay the required resources (dog food, toys etc.).
In the Walking phase, they take their dog through the park, collecting resources, activating dog abilities and interacting with other walkers along the way. Finally, in the Home Time phase, players earn reputation for the dogs they have walked, but also lose reputation for any restless dogs in their kennel that haven't been walked. At the end of the fourth round, the player with the most reputation points wins.
In the solo mode, you will be competing against two auto-walkers. Instead of objectives, solo comes with four levels of difficulty. The level of difficulty combined with your reputation will give you your final score.
