Ausonia is live (Deck building gems)
Update: Ausonia has launched on Kickstarter, and the campaign will run for 29 days. You may pledge for just the base game or also add the Masters of Shadow and the Remnant of War expansions. If you go all-in, you get an early bird discount.

Ausonia is a 1-4 player deck building game set in an imaginary 17th century Italy. You play as a member of a noble family, trying to become ruler of the city-states that have survived the witch-plague. The game is planned to launch on Kickstarter on April 7.
You begin the game with a hand of 12 cards, and the resource you will be exchanging is magical gems. You spend them to purchase cards from the market, and also to activate cards in your hand. Over the course of the game, you will be able to thin your deck by getting rid of weaker cards. You win if you first reach 60 influence points.
In the solo mode, you play against one of the 'Aspirants': the Snake, the Bloodvassal or the Usurper. On his turn, the Aspirant takes one of the market cards and activates his abilities according to the gems pictured on the purchased card.
Two add-on expansions (Masters of Shadow and Remnants of War) enrich the deck with characters, guilds, events, and artifacts.
