Cube building
Blokk! is a 1-4 players dexterity and 3D building game in which you try to build a cube with 3D polyominoes. The Kickstarter campaign will launch on October 12.
You first pick a board depending on the game length you want: short, medium, long, in which you will have to build, respectively, a 3x3, 4x4, and 5x5 cube. You start the game with 100 points. Each turn, you pick a piece and add it to the cube under construction. There are, however, three game modes of increasing difficulty. In the easiest mode, you pick any piece you want. In the medium difficulty mode, you roll a die which specifies the color of the piece you must pick. In the highest difficulty mode, you draw a card that will dictate the piece you must place. If the piece falls when you place it, it stays where it is and you place a new one.
Once you are done with building the cube, you subtract one point for every gap or protruding bit, which will give you your final score. Fallen pieces also bring negative points. The game also comes with various achievements you may try to fulfill.
