Crazy Taco is live
Crazy Taco is a 1-2 player dice allocation game about managing a taco restaurant. It is live on Kickstarter and the campaign will run for 18 days. You may back either the standard or the "KS exclusive" edition (with neoprene mat and sleeves). There is also a PnP option, and the chance to see yourself as a character in the game.
In Crazy Taco, your goal is to keep the reputation of your restaurant as high as possible while going through the entire customer deck. If reputation ever goes down to 1 star, you lose. On each round, new customers will appear, and each of them will have different requirements: some will want just food and/or drinks, others will coincide with a chore, like you having to take the garbage out. You will roll the custom dice and assign the results to the tasks that you wish to carry out. When an order has been served, you will collect money for it.
If you roll "Zzz", workers take a break and will stay in the break zone for a few rounds. Chores may also take time to be completed. If a new chore shows up without you having finished the previous one, you will be penalized. Customers who are kept to wait in line may leave and lower your reputation. To balance things out, there are a few bonus cards in the customer deck to help you manage the queues or lock up the break room.
