Bahn Frei is live

Bahn Frei is a 1-4 player cooperative pick-up and deliver game about running the railway system of Germany. It is live on Kickstarter, and the campaign will run for 29 days. Besides backing for a copy of the game, you have the option of having your face illustrated on one of the cards. Shipping is EU-friendly but 'unfriendly' to other countries.

The game is played over 15 rounds. On each round, you first bring in new passengers by rolling a die. Each passenger card shows their starting location, the destination they want to go to, and in how many rounds they have to be there. From round 3 onward, you also draw an event card. You then decide the most efficient way to move your trains on the map to pick up the passengers, and flip the hourglass. Pick-up and delivery has to be done within 30 seconds.

Passengers who have been picked up will be placed in your train wagons. If any passengers are left out, they file a complaint, and the complaint-o-meter goes up. If you happen to deliver a passenger sooner than the required time, you get a voucher. Vouchers can be given to passengers who would otherwise complain, to keep them on the map for another round. If you manage to finish the game with less than 8 complaints, you win.
