A Petersen family affair (8-Bit Attack is live)

Lincoln Petersen is Sandy Petersen's son, and the designer of 8-Bit Attack: a tribute to his father's line of boardgames. The game is now on Kickstarter, and the campaign will run for 29 days.

8-Bit Attack is a cooperative fantasy battle game for 1-5 players. You take on the role of a hero, and, along with your other hero friends, try to take down a series of enemies before Cthulhu reaches the final step of his track.

At the beginning of the game, you draw an enemy, and select his difficulty level. The tougher he is, the more rewards you are going to reap if you beat him. The enemy may be an elder god, a demon, an alien or a cultist, namely one of the baddies of Sandy Petersen's games. Each enemy will only attack a single player, and will use the ability rolled on the tactics die. The heroes will activate their own abilities, and choose which enemy to fight with their attack dice. At any point they decide, players can battle the final lord, and win the game if they do.

You may add four different expansions to your pledge, to enrich the variety of the enemies.
