I purchased this a month or two ago. It’s a deck-building game with a sci-fi theme. The expansion Relics of the Future is required for solo play. I am going to give it a whirl tonight and see what I think.
The game moves pretty quick. The ai is easy to learn and understand, making for a smooth experience. I am sure it could be tinkered with to create more or less of a challenge depending on your situation. The cards themselves are fairly straightforward as well. There was only one instance where I struggled with the written text as it seemed it was more suited for multiplayer rather than a more powerful ai opponent. There are four factions to choose from, but you can attempt to build a deck from any faction or all of them if you wish. I never felt locked in to any particular play-style, in fact that is how I won my first game. Apparently my victory was very close, as it wasn’t until my winning round that I realized the bot was about to secure a victory.
This game always felt very tempting to me, but I'm still unsure whether I like deck-builders, and whether I can stomach cards with complicated texts for sessions that are likely to be few and far-between.
So far, so good! I am enjoying my first game. I like deck-builders, too, and this one is hitting all the right notes. The instructions are not overly complicated so I was able to delve into it quicker then most others. Also, the price point isn’t so bad. I paid 15 for the base game and 10 for the solo expansion (on Amazon).

Oh, I had forgotten that this game exists, thanks, Gloomknight! It looks right up my deck building alley. 😄

Thanks, GK. I'm gonna look into this one. Plus, "Shards of Infinity" is a very cool name.

The artwork looks nice. I like deck-builders. Please let us know your verdict, GK.
