The #1 sport in France is undoubtedly football (that you call soccer). Rugby is fairly popular as well, but much less. Biking? Hm. Yes, there is the Tour de France, but apart from that, we never hear about it. And yes, tennis, but that's more a rich people thing.

@Zerbique Guess I'd better stick with the ever-so-lame English language. 😄 I've heard it's somewhat difficult to learn 'cause they're so many exceptions to rules.

Many Americans are too dumb to learn/accept the Metric System. No, we gotta have 12 inches to a foot and 3 feet to a yard and 1,760 yards to a mile. What idiots came-up with that lunacy? Hey, did ya notice humans have 10 digits on their hands and 10 toes on their feet? That's a hint, Dick-Wads! 😄 Isn't a milliliter of water a cubic centimeter in size? How cool is that?!

You don't 'say' horsepower for engines in Europe, do ya? It's kilowatts, right? There ya are, back to powers of 10 - where ya should be!

Z, do you have a professional sport you follow, and if so, what is it?

@Cadet Stimpy No, we do use horsepower... Not the same as yours though, that would be too easy. And I don't know anything about it except it does exist. I don't have a car, so I am rather ignorant on car-related things.

As for a professional sport I follow, no, there really isn't any. I don't like watching sports in general. And even more broadly, I'm just not fond of any kind of competition (chess tournaments, video gaming competitions, cooking competitions, trivia competitions, singing competitions, well, you get it).
