I must confess, when I see "Turczi", I usually don't look much further... But I sure believe the multiplayer game must be a decent Euro.
Strangely enough this game did not fare really well. The deluxe edition was already discounted 50% off during the last Philibert sales. The rating is rather low for a shining new KS.
@Cadet Stimpy Yes, it's pretty much the go-to online retailer for French people. Judging by my on behavior at least, and by how often people send me second-hand games in boxes from Philibert. They have a good selection usually, they are incredibly efficient, the prices are decent, and they are nice to interact with whenever you have a problem. For France they also use a good selection of delivery options, some being very cheap and convenient. And they have a great "Loyalty programme" which got me big games for free (you are rewarded with points that stack up pretty quick).
There are a few other websites. Weirdly Amazon is not really an option, they have almost nothing regarding board games. So Philibert really reigns supreme. The only issue I have is that availability may be low, so when I see a game I'm interested in, I usually must buy it within a week, if not less.
I've never been to Strasbourg. I'd love to, it seems like a splendid city! One of the richest in France, actually, in one of the richest provinces (Alsace). We watched videos of the Strasbourg tramway with my son the other night (he is fond of tramways) and the streets looked so clean, the people so quite, it really was nothing like Paris.
And, yes, I have absolutely nothing about Turczi, I just don't like his designs. I'm happy it does so much of the solo modes, it helps me limiting my own purchases.
Basically I don't like Automa. I can't quite find one game with Automa I actually enjoyed.
@Zerbique Too bad Strasbourg is 500 clicks away. Z Jr. likes tramways? He might (but probably not) like this game I have: Trambahn (basic Set Collection & 8+):
