One year after backers should have received their Street Masters Aftershock items, some 200 people are still waiting. The fulfillment company BlackBox managed to lose and misplace a lot of items. As it doesn't exist anymore, the Sadlers have given up hope of ever receiving the games and are going to reprint. And they'll add a free new challengers (fighters) pack for the victims of the mismanagement as well.
This reprint for fulfillment purposes will be combined with a campaign on IndieGoGo, where anyone can hop in and pre-order most previously released Street Masters content. Plus the new challengers pack. Plus a new stand-alone expansion: Tide of the Dragon.
It is not exactly clear why they don't use their own pre-order website for this, like they did for Contra. And IndieGoGo is a bit weird, in that you can start a campaign with a "flexible goal". In that case the creator will receive all funds even if it doesn't reach that goal. Whether this is the case with the new Street Masters expansions, and if it matters, we will find out on October 21.
You can read all about it in the latest update for Aftershock on Kickstarter.
