A compilation of crowdfunding news that didn't make our front page. These games are currently live or are going to launch in the near future.
1. Sons of Faeriell unlocked the solo and cooperative mode stretch goals. No information on the new rules yet, but I have to admit these masks look cool. Link to the campaign.
2. Devil Boats: PT Boats in the Solomons launched on Kickstarter today. You are in command of a US boat in 1943 and have to deal with crew injuries, ship damage, and dysentery. Shipping is not EU-friendly. Link to the campaign.
3. In case you haven't seen it, ISS Vanguard has a preview page up on Gamefound, Awaken Realms' new crowdfunding platform. They haven't announced a launch date yet, but December seems highly likely. Follow the preview link.
4. Forest of Radgost is an upcoming cooperative storytelling game inspired by Slavic mythology. It has fairytale-like artwork, check out their website if you like.
I have no opinion, to be honest. I'm curious to see how the solo/co-op works but it's not my highest priority.
I had backed Sons of Faeriell to be informed when the 'unexpected' solo stretch goal would be announced. Now that it is... I guess I see no reason to keep my pledge. Although I like very much the Miyazaki-inspired drawings for the Guardians. But I'd rather read through the whole Nausicaä cycle again.
