David Turczi announced his collaboration with Devir Games on their Essen release Bitoku with this humble statement:
"I have done a thing. Devir Games have been hitting it out of the park with Red Cathedral and Paris: La Cité de la Lumière. And now they're trying their hand at something a spiff heavier - a beautifully themed dice/worker placement game (with a hint of deck building). And they did what all smart eurogame publisher do: they hired me to do the solo mode, and the game impressed me well enough that I took the job (trust me, I don't make any solo modes just on a pretty theme)".
I'll just do what every smart eurogamer does: never play a solo mode by a designer who doesn't play them himself.
So, you're Mr Solo Mode. That don't impress me much.
