Although BGG's Website is impressively vast, I'm liking the smaller community here, and especially that I know who's runnin' the Site (and quite actively participating), as opposed to BGG, who are just 'Ghosts in the Machine'. Perhaps it's a bit like neighbors (ST) or everyone on a different continent (BGG).
